The arms of the IHC have reached out to developing nations on five continents because children are our business. They are the future of the world and their future depends on you. Listed are some of the clinics we support:

Belize

Cuba

  • In Havana, thetheihc supports the William Soler Pediatric Hospital

Honduras

  • In 1997 IHC built the Ruth Paz clinic with support from actor Dennis Quaid and actress Meg Ryan. The clinic provides healthcare and dental care to orphanages, street people, and to the community.The Emmanuel Orphanage receives Christmas gifts each year from Dennis Quaid and the IHCSan Lorenzo Fire Department received an ambulamce donated by Amed Ambulance Emergency Service and the IHC.The IHC continously supports hospitals, clinics, orphanages, and shelters in Tegucigalpa and surrounding areas.
  • In Santa Rosa de Copan, the IHC has provided much needed medical equipment for the hospital, and educational toys, cribs, diapers, and medicines for local day care facilities and orphanages.

Ghana West Africa

  • The IHC has been instrumental in obtaining a much needed ambulance for the Dr. J.C. Sams's Bryant Mission Hospital. Because of the generous support of Amed Ambulance Service, the New Hope Baptist Church, a local minister who sponsored shipping, the ambulance is now serving many villages and provides care to hundreds of families.

El Salvador The La Pena Community schools and clinics benefits from supplies shipped by theihc. Ecuador

  • The IHC partners with Cheerup Missions in sending medical supplies and equipment to healthcare facilities in the towns of La Libertad, Olon, San Pedro, and Manglaralto.

Nicaragua

  • Hospital, clinics and orphanage in Puerto Cabezas and all the atlantic coast.. June 2004, the IHC built the first clinic in Bum Sirpi. This is one of the most primitive areas in Nicaragua that had virtually no medical care until IHC became involved in 2003.. This clinic provides basic medical care to approximately one thousand people.Our project director traveled to Nicaragua for the opening of the new clinic in Bum Sirpi.
  • IHC also supports the Mascota Pediatric Hospital and several clinics in surrounding areas.

Namibia

  • The IHC & Dennis Quaid sent one EKG monitor and one defibrillator to the St. Gabriel Community Ambulance Trust, in Walvis Bay.

Uganda

  • IHC partnered with the St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church in sending fifty pounds of medical supplies to a clinic in Dinga.
  • Home Base Clinic & the Rural Mobile Clinic in Ginga

Dominican Republic

  • In February 2004, Dr. Heiman traveled to Santiago to assess the needs of hospitals and children shelters. He distributed medical supplies and medicine through the country.
  • In June, five boxes of medicine and supplies were shipped to Santiago for flood victims.
