| Ours is a proven record of accomplishments (millions of pounds of GOODS have been delivered to devastated areas), we put into action more than 90 cents of every dollar that is donated. We do not spend money on ads, do not employ third party organizations and all members are volunteers. Theihc was founded in 1981 in New Orleans by Dr. Mayer Heiman, a local internist, and is a non-profit 501C organization of physicians and professionals. Theihc was the first to provide relief in Honduras (Espanol) after Hurricane Mitch destabilized the country's infrastructure and it now reaches from the Americas to Cambodia-India-Ghana-Uganda-Romania-Bosnia-Russia and other countries. | |||||

| The IHC works in conjunction with groups such as St. Lukes University, Central American Medical Outreach Program, Infusion Partners, the honorary consul of Belize, the Belize Association of Louisiana, the Mississippi Charitable Foundation, the New Hope Baptist Church, Christ the Healer, the Harihaven Ministry of Faith, Cheer up mission and others.
